Pastor Alexander McEntire Jr. is the elder son of Alexander and Lucille McEntire.  He spent twenty years in The United States Air Force retiring October 31, 1986.  He received a Certificate of License after giving evidence that God had called him into Ministry to preach the Gospel as he may have the opportunity, and to exercise his gifts in the work of the Ministry by The Greater Liberty Baptist Church of Cincinnati, Ohio on September 4, 1988. Later he was licensed by The Kirby Road Baptist Church of Cincinnati, Ohio on April 24, 1991. He received an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity in October, 2011 from Saint Thomas College.

He graduated from Temple Baptist College on June 5, 1993 with a BA in Christian Education.  The Kirby Road Baptist Church ordained him on June 6, 1993 and he became the Assistant Pastor.  The Kirby Road Baptist Church extended a unanimous call to Alexander McEntire Jr. as their pastor on February 5, 1995, and he was installed on Sunday, March 5, 1995.

In April 2000, He and his wife Prophetess Jean McEntire, were led by God to establish the Word Alive Christian Fellowship. They begin this non-denominational, full-gospel ministry with eight individuals and grown substantially. In July, 2007 they were ordained by Bishop Bill Harmon and Apostle Leon Walters under Christian International Apostllic Network of Churches.  

Apostle Alexander is a compassionated minister with an apostolic gifting and a pastoral heart. He has a burden for souls.   His love for people is expressed through his service in several organizations: Boy Scouts of America, past president of Kiwanis Club and as a Board Member of C.A.I.N. (Churches Active in Northside). He is the father of two: Alexander, 111 and Tonya and the grandfather of five.
