Dr. H. Jean McEntire is an avid student of the bible, an anointed speaker and prolific writer of inspirational books who operates in the gifts of prophecy and healing. Beneath her warm soft-spoken demeanor are wisdom, grace and a powerful anointed voice. Her messages of faith, hope and restoration will help you activate the power of God in your life. She teaches with authority yet, with such simplicity and clarity that even a child can understand it. She will encourage you to apply the Word of God to your situation. Jean is a doer of the Word. Her life demonstrates that Jesus is alive! She has been recognized for her outstanding leadership and community service both locally and nationally. The Cincinnati Enquirer crowned her as one of the Women of the Year, 1994 and in 2001 she was honored by Leading Women, Inc. as an outstanding woman in ministry. Featured in Upscale Magazine, 1994, honorable mention, Jet Magazine, People Section, 1994. She has served on several profit and non-profit boards. Presently, she serves as a director on Partners for Hope Board; a non-profit Christian organization that supports Hope Community Centre, an orphanage in Kenya. She is the wife of Apostle, Dr. Alexander McEntire, mother of Lyndon and Tangie and grandmother of four: Chrisian, Gordon, Lennox and K. Faith.
Pastor Jean is also the co-founder of the Word Alive Ministries Inc. and founder of the Beauty for Ashes Global Ministry; a ministry that rebuilds the lives of broken women and encourages them to live out their purpose in God. She travels around the country encouraging women to exchange their ashes for the beauty of the Lord. She sponsors the Jean Dream Award an award given each year to a deserving woman who have been through the fires of adversity and is pursuing higher education. Jean is a graduate of the University with a B.S. Degree in Psychology. She received a Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Saint Thomas Christian College in September, 2010.
